Biography

Dr. Norman Bamber is a board-certified neurosurgeon dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system. Combining advanced surgical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach, he works closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize both long-term outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Bamber earned his Ph.D. in Neurobiology and his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University before completing his neurosurgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. His extensive training and years of clinical experience allow him to treat a wide range of neurological conditions using both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

His clinical interests include minimally invasive spine surgery, degenerative spinal disorders, brain tumors, cranial surgery, peripheral nerve disorders, and traumatic neurological injuries. Dr. Bamber believes that informed patients make confident decisions, and he is committed to providing clear communication and thoughtful guidance throughout every stage of treatment.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bamber enjoys gardening and is deeply involved in the Kansas City hockey community. As a USA Hockey Certified Coach, he has volunteered with the Kansas City Youth Hockey Association, helping develop players from Learn-to-Play programs through high school competition.
